Alison is the author of twointernational bestsellers, both widely used across organisations to developconfidence, resilience, and professional impact.
Known for her energy, humour, relatability, and down-to-earth storytelling, Alison empowers audiences tothink differently, show up with purpose, and unlock the performance potentialwithin themselves and their teams.
The Intrapreneur Mindset
Alison’s flagship keynote, and the framework behind everything she does. Most people are good at their jobs; the question is whether they behave as though the business belongs to them. Intrapreneurs do. They make decisions in the company’s interests, take responsibility for their contribution to its success, and adapt early rather than react late.
Alison gives audiences three questions that change how a team decides: What would I do if it were my first day? What would I say if it were my best friend? And what would I do if it were my business? The first restores the fresh perspective that habit erodes; the second creates psychological safety for honest conversations; and the third brings financial accountability to every decision.
After a single keynote, Haydock Finance converted an additional £54 million from the same sales pipeline. Their leadership put the difference down to the whole team adopting an ownership mindset. It is a talk people remember and keep using long after the event.
Perfect for leadership teams, all-hands, staff conferences and sales kick-offs.
How to Change Before It’s Too Late
Based on Alison’s TEDx talk. Early in her career, Alison had a front-row seat for the downfall of Yellow Pages when the internet arrived. The company once dominated its industry worldwide, and everyone inside could see the threat coming, yet a lack of psychological safety meant nobody spoke up while there was still time to act.
In this keynote, Alison explores metathesiophobia, the fear of change, and shows how it shapes far more decisions than anyone admits, in individuals and across whole organisations. She looks at how fear distorts judgement, why waiting for certainty is often the riskiest strategy of all, and what happens to the companies that act early compared with those that wait.
Audiences leave knowing how to spot the moment to change, how to make it safe for people to raise concerns early, and how to bring a team with them. Alison tells it through her own experience, with plenty of humour, and it lands hardest with organisations in the middle of a transformation.
Perfect for after-dinner slots, conferences and organisations mid-transformation.
From Castle View to View of the Castle
Alison’s own story of resilience and self-belief. She left school with no qualifications and undiagnosed dyslexia, started out in hospitality, and worked her way into senior roles inside a global organisation during a period of enormous market change. From there she built and ran her own award-winning sales training business, went on to coach winners of Dragons’ Den and The Apprentice, and advised government on entrepreneurship.
In 2017 she overcame her own self-doubt to publish her first bestseller, Secrets of Successful Sales. In 2020 she was awarded an MBE by The Queen for services to business and released SMASH IT!, a three-time Amazon international bestseller, and in 2024 she received an Honorary Doctorate of Education from Bournemouth University.
The talk is about the mindset that carried Alison from Castle View to the stage, and how the people in the room can use it themselves: backing yourself before anyone else does, and refusing to let a label decide what you are capable of. It is warm, honest and very funny, and it works as well at an awards dinner as it does at a leadership conference.
Perfect for women’s networks, International Women’s Day and awards dinners.
Growing Your Own Business
Built for audiences who each run a business of their own. Drawing on her years coaching entrepreneurs, several of them from start-up to multi-million-pound turnover, and on her own experience of building and scaling a company, Alison unpicks what actually makes a business grow and the habits of the founders who make it happen.
She covers the fundamentals that get lost in the day-to-day: how to sell with confidence without feeling “salesy”, how to prioritise when everything feels urgent (using her Big Balls® methodology), and how to keep going when growth stalls.
It is practical and full of real examples, and business owners, franchisees and direct sellers leave with specific things to do differently on Monday morning. Alison has delivered versions of it to networks including Avon, Easigrass, Kip McGrath and Dog First Aid.
Perfect for franchise networks, direct-selling teams and founder communities.
Every keynote is tailored to the audience and event, and all are underpinned by The Intrapreneur Mindset. Standard keynote length is 30–45 minutes, flexible from a 20-minute after-dinner slot to 90 minutes with Q&A and interaction.
