Janice Cardinale is on a mission to change the narrative on mental health, while ending workplace abuse.  She has spent a combined 36 years as a heart-centric entrepreneur owning two different businesses which both were successfully sold.

Cardinale knows that the workplace is facing acritical moment, and we have a responsibility to support and prioritize people if we want the future to thrive for the next generation.  

Her solution is to train people at all levels on psychological safety and emotional intelligence.  Recognizing problems in the work place and knowing how to respond to them with empathy is no longer a nice to have.  It is a responsibility of every organization big or small and every leader to ensure that people are trained so that we don’t trigger the talented people who work in the ecosystem of events and who require tools and resources to handle situations that are often sensitive and can be serious.

Psychological safety training is the only way that we can save events, meetings, hospitality and incentive travel professionals from the fear, shame and stigma that exists within our workplaces. Ending workplace abuse is a human right.

After 4 years of advocating and creating awareness, Janice has found some solutions to enable the industry to accept those that might be neuro diverse, who suffer with their mental health and those who are burned out due to the stress of their jobs.  

Janice believes that by building brave spaces to amplify the conversations that people want to have is a priority.
